Matangi has been associated with Radha Kalpa for the last 3 years working extensively with them on their core productions such as Prabhavati and their regular Bharathanatyma repetoire. She is a principal dancer of the troupe and has been recognised and appreciated for both her Nritta (pure dance movements) and Abhinaya (expressive dance techniques)

Matangi has had the opportunity to tour the United States of America and the Middle East successfully, with their popular production "Prabhavati". Matangi’s notable performance in Prabhavati has been of the ‘Sakhi’. She dons a dual role, and cleverly incorporates both nritta, abhinaya in the margam format. Her role in Prabhavati has won her several accolades.
